Vintage batik dress

I love batik prints and this vintage one caught my eye while shopping on K'road in Auckland.  Most of the vintage I found was priced pretty high but there was this one shop where everything was either $10 or $15--my kind of store!  I spent a short minute thinking about hemming the dress to a more flattering length before the writing on the hem stopped me.  Google sadly has failed me--anyone have any info on the maker?

Outfit details
Dress: vintage from New Zealand
Shirt: Jcrew
Shoes: Franco Sarto

  1. I actually think the length is pretty good for you; you've styled it perfectly.

  3. Oooh, love the chambray and batik combo! Do you mind if I re-run the top photo on EA this week? I'm doing a post dedicated to chambray shirts. I'll link to this post of course. :)
