Plaid skirt

I've been pulling out my favorite summer pieces to wear for the next few weeks before they go into storage for the next five months or so.   While I'll be sad to say goodbye to this plaid skirt, I'm pretty sure I have plenty of plaid button downs ready to help me greet fall!

Tiny mice, twice as nice

Here's my casual outfit from labor day which took me from a lovely lunch to a matinee (Midnight in Paris) to making delicious onigiri (Japanese rice balls).  I'm wearing another vintage kissing mice belt, this time in a smaller version.  Somehow when things are smaller their cuteness factor goes off the charts.  Tiny little cookies?  I'll have 5 please!

Noah's ark

I tried out the self timer feature on my camera today and this was the best that I got.  Pulled out another thrifted maxi skirt today as I wanted to be comfortable while sitting and tagging all our items for the Hunt Gather Style shop.  I love the quirky animals on the bottom of this skirt and as Sydney and Grechen so kindly pointed out, it's a Noah's ark pattern, hence a skirt perfect for a sister wife.

Vintage lookalike: Zara maxi skirt

I really love the bright spring and summer colors at Zara stores this season.  I got this pink maxi skirt and adore it so much and was delighted to find a blue version at a thrift store.  It probably is from the 90s era so technically not vintage but a score at $5 all the same.  It's a perfect length to wear with flat sandals and the blue has been surprisingly versatile to pair with various colors (white, grey, forest green, orange, etc.)
