Do the Polka

I found this vintage Japanese dress from a little place called the House of Japan.  It's made of a soft cotton with a bit of a sateen finish and I especially adore the snack pockets.  Pockets are a huge bonus when I'm considering a potential dress or skirt, how else can I have easy access to my snacks?  Looking at this picture now, I see that my belt and shoes don't match and that's been a common theme in most of my outfit pictures.  In college, I was known to wear different shades of blue at once.  Now I see I've added all shades of brown to the list.  I'm pretty sure that's not progress.

Outfit details

  1. That dress is adorable! I don't think your belt has to match your shoes. I actually like it when it doesn't.

  2. I didn't even notice the mismatch until you pointed it out. It looks intentional. And I love navy and kelly together!
