Made it down bright and early to the Le Garage sale and here are some of my favorite finds:
Shabd silk hand dyed top from
Kickpleat. I've been eyeing this beauty for a while and am so glad I finally got it--the fit is phenomenal and I love the unique print.
I always find a special piece or two at Herff Christensen and this short cardigan caught my eye this time. Yay for local Austin design!
Etcetera, etc had a massive sale going on and I bought a few fun items, including this colorblock skirt by Australian designer Cameo. Be sure to say hi to Emma if you're there!
Another store that I always hit up is
Girl Next Door. They stock contemporary labels like Splendid, Vince and Monrow and I managed to snag a black Rachel Pally skirt that is on my fall wishlist!
(no picture, I'm sure you can imagine a black maxi skirt ;)
Finally, even though I have my tried and true favorite stores, Le Garage is great because you can always find someone new and awesome such as
Raven & Lily--where I got this great necklace made by Ethiopian artisans using metals recycled from weapons. I love the idea of transforming
"something made for harm into something of great beauty." Please be sure to check them out if you're headed to the sale or take a look at their website.
