Here's my outfit from the first day of school. Our Student Life office had a whole Hawaiian theme going and since I didn't want to wear a lei (too itchy!) I compromised by wearing a brightly patterned dress. I put on a thrifted boy blazer over it to look a bit more professional and also to avoid the "you're the teacher?" comments I've gotten in the past. To which I usually respond "yes and that's a letter grade off!"
